Date: 27/07/2024
His Eminence Archbishop Makarios, along with our esteemed doctors from Greece, were honored at a dinner party hosted by Nairobi Women Representative Hon. Esther Passaris. The event took place at the renowned Carnivore Restaurant and served as a heartfelt gesture to thank the doctors, lecturers, and medical students from the University of Thessalia in Greece.
For the past week, this dedicated team has been conducting free medical camps across Kenya, providing essential healthcare services to our communities. Their tireless efforts and expertise have made a significant impact on the lives of many Kenyans, and we are deeply grateful for their continued support of our mission work.
In an unexpected yet delightful turn of events, the Deputy President of Kenya also visited the Carnivore Restaurant during the dinner. This coincidence added to the evening’s significance, underscoring the importance of international collaboration and community service.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the University of Thessalia, Faculty of Medicine, for their unwavering commitment to our cause. Their partnership has been invaluable in advancing healthcare and support within our communities.
Additionally, we express our sincere gratitude to Hon. Esther Passaris for her generosity and ongoing collaboration with the Orthodox Church on various development and service initiatives. Her dedication to improving the lives of our people in Kenya is commendable, and we look forward to continued partnership in the future.
Stay tuned for more updates on our mission and community activities. Together, we continue to strive for a better, healthier Kenya.
