Overflowing with gratitude, we are thrilled to announce the commencement of our Philanthropy project, made possible through the generous inclusion by the Kiambu Bishopric. On Saturday, May 4th, 2024, our journey began with a visit to Makimei Children’s Home, a momentous occasion marked by warmth, compassion, and hope.

During our visit, the management of Makimei Children’s Home extended their heartfelt gratitude to the Orthodox Church for its unwavering support over the years. Their testimonies echoed the countless acts of kindness and generosity bestowed upon them by Orthodox Christians, including our esteemed Patron, His Eminence Archbishop Makarios.

As we embark on this noble endeavor, we are deeply moved by the spirit of unity and collaboration that permeates our community. Inspired by the resilience and optimism of the young children at Makimei Children’s Home, we are more determined than ever to make a meaningful difference in their lives.

In the coming days, we will be engaging with local leaders, as outlined during our Mega Youth Sunday, to spearhead a monumental project that promises to uplift and empower those in need. Together, we will channel our collective efforts towards creating a brighter, more inclusive future for all. To the Kiambu Bishopric and all who have supported us on this journey, we extend our heartfelt gratitude. Your belief in our mission fuels our passion and drives us to reach greater heights.

To the young children of Makimei Children’s Home, your message of love resonates deeply within our hearts. Rest assured, we stand with you, ready to support and uplift you in any way we can. As we forge ahead, let us remain steadfast in our commitment to serving others with love, compassion, and kindness.
