We are thrilled to share the news of a fruitful consultation held today, on Friday, May 17th, 2024. In the esteemed presence of our Patron, His Eminence Archbishop Makarios, the Orthodox Youth Association of Kenya had the privilege of hosting a team from the Orthodox Christian Mission Center (OCMC).

The focus of this discussion revolved around Youth Mission and Empowerment; a topic close to our hearts. We were immensely inspired by the innovative Impact Model presented by OCMC, which not only imparts essential life skills but also introduces youth to the rich tapestry of Orthodoxy. This unique approach involves experiencing the liturgy not just within the confines of the church but also within the vibrant tapestry of our community life.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Dana and the dedicated team from OCMC, including Fr. Charalambos and Dan Christopolous, for their commendable efforts and invaluable insights. Their dedication to nurturing young minds and spirits is truly commendable.

As a community, we are deeply committed to fostering the growth and development of our youth, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary tools to navigate life’s journey with faith and resilience. The collaboration with OCMC serves as a beacon of hope, showcasing global best practices that we are proud to embrace and showcase within our own context.
