Special Guests from Oxford: A Blessing to Our Youth Movement

With the abundant blessings of His Eminence Metropolitan Makarios, we are thrilled to share the joyous news of the recent visit by our esteemed friends from Oxford, Mr. Thomas Booker and Mrs. Elise Booker. Over the past three weeks, their presence has graced our Youth Movement with immeasurable blessings and inspiration.

From the vibrant celebrations of Mega Youth Sunday in Kiambu Bishopric to countless other youth-led events, Mr. and Mrs. Booker have actively participated and enriched our community with their warmth and wisdom.

Their friendship with OCYAK has been truly cherished, and we are immensely grateful for the opportunity to host them. Their visit not only strengthens our bonds of friendship but also serves as a testament to the global solidarity within the Orthodox community.

We extend our deepest gratitude to His Eminence Metropolitan Makarios for his unwavering blessings and support, which have been instrumental in fostering meaningful connections and experiences within our Youth Movement.

Special recognition is also due to Fr. Tito Parmuat, the Vicar of Kilimanjaro Bishopric, whose close friendship with the Youth Movement has been invaluable. His commendable efforts in the Maasai land, particularly in rescuing young children from harmful practices such as FGM, are a true reflection of his dedication to serving humanity.

To all who played a part in ensuring the Bookers’ visit was memorable and worthwhile, we express our heartfelt appreciation. To Mr. Thomas Booker and Mrs. Elise Booker, your presence will forever be cherished, and your impact on our organization is profound.

As we continue our journey together, let us remain steadfast in our commitment to faith, friendship, and service.

With gratitude and blessings,
