Caring for Our Environment: Kenya Tree Planting Holiday

Dear Community Members,
In alignment with the Government of Kenya’s commendable efforts to nurture and protect our environment through tree planting initiatives, we are reminded of our divine calling to stewardship. As stewards of God’s creation, it is our solemn responsibility to care for the earth and all its inhabitants.
Reflecting on the words of Psalm 104, we are reminded of God’s magnificent creation and His profound care for every living thing. From the depths of the sea to the heights of the mountains, God’s handiwork is evident in the beauty and abundance of nature. He has entrusted us with the precious gift of life and invites us to join Him in preserving and nurturing His creation.
In recent times, we have witnessed the devastating effects of climate change, manifested in the form of floods and other natural disasters. Our hearts ache for those affected, and we stand in solidarity with them during these challenging times. However, our prayers and grief must be accompanied by action. Let us rise to the occasion and make a tangible difference in our environment. Let us plant trees, conserve water, reduce waste, and adopt sustainable practices in our daily lives. Each small act of kindness towards the environment contributes to the larger cause of restoration and renewal.
As we embark on this journey of environmental stewardship, we humbly request your support for our ministry. Your donations enable us to continue our vital work of nurturing the faith and empowerment of our youth, while also advocating for environmental conservation.
