Earlier today, we gathered with family, friends, and fellow youth members for the trisagion and candle lighting ceremony in memory of Jane Wambui, a cherished member of the Orthodox Christian Youth Association of Kenya (OCYAK). Jane was an active participant in our activities and a steadfast supporter of our youth initiatives. Her dedication and spirit will be deeply missed.

The ceremony was a heartfelt tribute to Jane’s life and contributions. In his sermon, the Youth President emphasized the importance of being spiritually equipped to face life’s challenges and encouraged all present to support one another through times of loss. He also conveyed the official condolences of OCYAK to Jane’s family and friends.

Jane will be laid to rest tomorrow at Holy Cross Orthodox Church, Muthurwa. We invite everyone to join us in this final farewell. Please come dressed in an OCYAK T-shirt or a white T-shirt as we honor Jane and bid her a respectful and loving send-off to rest with the angels.
