Warm Welcome and Medical Outreach at St. Paul Kagira

📅 Date: 22nd July 2024

Today, Archbishop Makarios of Kenya had the distinct privilege of welcoming a dedicated team of doctors from Greece and a group from Cyprus to St. Paul Kagira. Their visit was marked by a Divine Liturgy that brought together our community in prayer and worship.

Following the Divine Liturgy, the doctors began providing medical check-ups to the patients from the surrounding areas. This initiative not only reflects our commitment to serving those in need but also demonstrates the spirit of collaboration and compassion that transcends borders.

As we reflect on this event, we are reminded of the words from Matthew 5:16: “In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” This verse captures the essence of our mission—to let our actions be a testament to our faith and to the love we extend to our neighbors.
